1. Game Developer (Unity/Unreal Engine)

Location: Remote / Nairobi, Kenya
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement gameplay mechanics, systems, and features for mobile games.
  • Collaborate with designers and artists to create smooth, interactive experiences.
  • Optimize game performance for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews and help maintain the quality of our codebase.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise during development and post-launch.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a game developer with Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Strong understanding of C# or C++ programming languages.
  • Experience developing mobile games for iOS and Android.
  • Familiarity with game design principles and mobile platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have:

2. 2D/3D Game Artist

Location: Remote / Nairobi, Kenya
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Create visually stunning 2D and 3D game assets including characters, environments, and UI elements.
  • Work closely with game designers to implement assets into the game.
  • Ensure that the visual style of the game is consistent and enhances the player experience.
  • Develop animations, particle effects, and textures for a smooth and dynamic game environment.
  • Collaborate with the development team to optimize assets for performance on mobile devices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a 2D/3D game artist, with a portfolio of work.
  • Strong proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, Maya, or similar.
  • Experience with mobile game art pipelines and optimizing assets for mobile devices.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling and art direction.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to changes in design requirements.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in game animation and character rigging.
  • Knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine for integrating assets into the game.

3. Game Designer

Location: Remote / Nairobi, Kenya
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine game mechanics, systems, and rules that engage players.
  • Create detailed design documents, prototypes, and gameplay experiences.
  • Collaborate with the development and art teams to ensure cohesive design and implementation.
  • Playtest game mechanics and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Analyze player data to optimize the game and balance difficulty levels.
